    Weapons: Belneth, though he prefers not to need it, carries a simple, light rapier, which a dark green swept guard and brown leather on the grip. It has a fat, green pommel and he carries the sword at his left side.

    Clothing and Armor: Belneth doesn't wear any armor, but he does wear a bright red tunic with long sleeves tied at the wrist, tight, dark blue leggings held up by a dark brown belt. His brown boots have large, flaired tops, and he wears a flowing dark green cloak on his back. Along with this colorful outfit, Belneth wears a large dark purple, wide-brimmed hat with a large white feather off the top on the left side of the hat.

    Treasures: 60 Rupees
    Rupee Riches: Due to their status as nobility and upper-class citizens, or due to their proficiency as thieves, these Hylians gain an additional 50 rupees at creation only. These rupees cannot be used to purchase treasures at creation, however.

    As a Racial ability, this skill is automatically known by certain races of certain origins. Specifically, this includes all Hylians who have originated as thieves of Darunia, or civilians of Castle-Town. Unlike most other racial abilities, this cannot be learned by Hylians from other origins, nor other races which transformed into Hylians.

    Song of Healing: After his magical song finishes, any recently-damaged inanimate objects in the nearby vicinity will be magically repaired. It can also be used to sooth the soul, and is the only means of obtaining a fabled Transformation Mask.
    Song of Storms: After his magical song finishes, the weather in the area will abruptly change to that of either a light shower or--more likely--a thunderstorm, varying with the location and the current weather. The process generally takes at least a couple minutes.

    Sun Song: After his magical song finishes, the user and their party will lose consciousness and be whisked away into another dimension for a full twelve hours, until returning to exactly where they were before. They will have aged, but not be hungry or fatigued, and the entire time period will have seemed to pass in the blink of an eye.

    Wind's Reqium: After his magical song finishes, the wind will abruptly pick up or change to a direction of the user's choosing. Exactly which direction of the cardinal eight the wind blows it depends on the exact notes played.

    Physical Description: Belneth stands 5'10 and weighs 174 pounds, and is a pretty lanky fellow. He is well groomed, with short, jagged black hair and a well-trimmed, short black goatee. His eyes are a brilliant and shimmering ocean blue, and he has a scar on the left side of his neck and a jagged one down his back. Those two scars are from bar fights he has been in, the third scar is on his stomach and was from a knife that was pulled on him during a pretty savage alleyway brawl.

    Residence: While he grew up in Darunia with his parents, Belneth hasn't lived at home in over ten years. Instead, he spends his sleeping hours at inns in whichever city he is staying at, spending the evening hours playing at the local bars to pay for said rooms.

    Personality: Belneth is a performer at heart, always acting with false bravado able to spur anyone into combat. While he likes to avoid combat, prefering others take part while he cheers them on, he isn't a stranger to combat, able to fight proficiently with either a sword or his own fists. He is always watching for interesting people, to either expand his own stories to tell or to pick up interesting notes he might find some usefulness for in the future. From all his time spent at bars, he has developed a strong love of alchohal, and has always loved meeting pretty women, and will throw himself into situations if it would help him get closer to a girl.

    Backstory: Belneth was born and raised in the village of Darunia. His father was a lumberjack, his mother stayed at home to look after Belneth and his older brothers and sisters. Being the youngest of the lot, Belneth was able to avoid a lot of the harder chores, as they were more easily done by the older kids. While his oldest brother worked alongside his father cutting trees, his second-oldest brother would spend his time with Belneth playing war in the yard, wooden sticks replacing swords as the two would fight off enemy after enemy. His brother really had a knack for the kind of thing, which helped Belneth develop much of his own skill with a sword. Once his brother was old enough, he went off to Castle-Town to become a soldier, and ended up being the first of the kids to leave town. The eldest sister joined the band of theives in the Lost Woods, visiting home often with tales of daring exploits. Belneth enjoyed these stories, and when he thinks back about how he got to where he is, he knows that his sister is to thank for his love of telling tales. Probably the main reason he loves music so much and took it up as his life is because when his other sister would watch the local children when a parent would ask, he would go with to keep her company and she would always sing the most magnificent songs to the kids.

    So, with a love of both stories and songs, Belneth soon decided by the time he was seventeen, that he would become a travelling Bard. He would explore far-off lands, hear stories of daring and brilliant exploits, and master every tune that caught his fancy. While his parents would wish he'd choose a more lucrative profession, they couldn't deny the fact the boy loved what he dreamed to do. So, practicing feverishly and learning to watch and listen to what people say, Belneth left home merely two years later, in an outfit his mother made for him of his own design, Belneth would start his journey across the lands. What amazing things he dreamed of seeing, and a promise that he would visit at some point to tell them what a grand life he lived, Belneth's stride towards fulfillment began.

    In the seven years that would follow, Belneth would travel most, if not all as he would say, the known Northern continent of Hyrule. He made frequent trips between the towns, always looking for new adventures and paying his way by playing at pubs. In many places few would venture, Belneth searched out poets and fellow musicians, storytellers and performers, even old manuscripts to learn the valuable art of how to be a Bard. Of course, the road to happiness isn't all rainbows and cookies, since Belneth did learn that not everyone either likes or has a happy look on life, and some are actually quite violent. He learned to fend for himself, a bite that could easily outstrip his bark, and never was too far from some kind of vice, be it women or booze, gambling or lies. Despite these things thought, Belneth still keeps a smile on his face as he is always exploring new places and ideas, eager to one day have young bards write songs about his life.

    ..."Northern Hylian" isn't a race. It's just Hylian. Anyway, everything else looks fine. Accepted.

    I'm looking forward to HC's first bard, man. :yomp:
