The afternoon bustle of the busy Goron Slums was always hectic, but Suxen had grown accustom to it as she walked beside Uncle Leo. They had gone to the market to pick up some special order fuses that Leo needed for a custom order, so Suxen marched along with the small crate in hand as Leo made sure she wasn't stepped on by a stray Goron going by. They stopped by a corner to wait for a wagon to go by, when Leo seemed preoccupied.

"What is it?" Suxen asked curiously, unable to see past the wagon yet.
"Well I'll be darned," Leo muttered.
"I can't see, what is it!"
"Why, that looks like old Seren, but younger."
    "Who?"
"Seren! By Din, he was quite the Yeti fighter back in the day. Always a treat to watch a match of his."

Suxen was confused, but also excited, as she hardly ever sees Yetis in Castle-Town. Once the cart was gone, she could see the mysterious Yeti, standing tall and white among all the earthy Goron people. She shuffled along beside Leo as he approached the intimidating person, wondering what exactly was up with the Yeti.

"You wouldn't happen to be related to the pro fighter Seren, would you?" Leo asked, hoping he had it right. "You look almost a spitting image of the Yeti himself."

There was a slight chill in the afternoon breeze blowing through the Goron Slums. In a world where the weather was hot for three quarters of the year, cold weather was always a welcome change. Perfect weather, a bottle(more of a jug) of warm pumpkin soup, and a match scheduled for later on had Geti in a good mood.

Due to his large stature, the Yeti was used to being bumped into constantly by the Goron populace hustling and bustling around him. It was different to have someone walk up and speak to him directly, and he almost didn't notice. But hearing his father's name spoken of so highly brought a smile to Geti's face. "Haha! Yes, yes, Seren is Geti's papa! You watched his matches, eh? Did not think people still remembered Seren."

"Remember him, he was one of the best, I reckon," Leo explained, half to Geti and half to Suxen. "Why, I remember one fight where not only did he manage to pin a large black bear, but he did it while taking on the bear's tamer as well. Magnificent performance." It was obvious Leo had been very invested in the old fighting rings back in the day, though Suxen didn't have any idea what he was going on about.

    "So, you watch people fight?"
    "Exactly."
    "For... fun?"
    "Eyup."
    "Fun?"

Leo chuckled, patting the girl on the head. She was confused by the concept, but obviously it was something you had to experience, she guessed.

"I'll have to take you to one sometime. We Gorons are renowned fighters as it is, but it is a pretty universal pass time among the people of Hyrule."

Geti was absolutely beaming. "Yes!" he boomed, "Bear break free and hide behind trainer, so Seren suplex both at same time!" The Yeti's laughter bellowed through the crowded street. He let the Goron man explain the concept of wrestling to the girl with him as he calmed down and took a drink of his soup.

"Girl has not seen match before?" Geti inquired. "Geti have match later in evening. Can come if like, is just down street," He pointed a thumb behind him. "Let them know Geti invited you. Ehh, what is name?"

Suxen was intrigued by the concept, even if she didn't feel like the idea of fighting for fun was a sane one to begin with. Either way, she wasn't going to turn down Uncle Leo's invitation to go see a match sometime, as she never shied away from Goron culture. Seemed the chance to see one might of come up sooner then she expected though, as the large Yeti named Geti told them of a match he had tonight. Suxen looked to Leo to see him look absolutely delighted, as he began to nod his head.

"Yes, yes, that would be grand indeed," he said enthusiastically.
"He's Leo, and I'm Suxen," the girl chimed in for introductions.
"It will be quite the treat to see the Son of Seren match up, for sure," Leo added.

Either way, they had to take the fuses back to the shop before this evening, so they said their farewells and thanks to Geti and made haste for the shop. There was still some work to do before going to the event, but Leo was obviously very excited, he was like a kid again. The other works at the shop were likewise excited, maybe not to the same degree as their boss, but still close enough. The whole shop would show up that evening, for what would probably be quite the event.

Geti adjusted his bandana, making sure it was comfortably snug. The worst thing that could happen was his opponent grabbing him by the bandana. That being said, he didn't know a whole lot about his opponent tonight, but perhaps it wouldn't matter. Considering the likelihood that the opponent was another Goron, Geti was pretty much prepared. He grabbed a nearby sandbag, lifting it over and behind his head as he suplexed it to the ground. Satisfied, he dusted himself off and took a swig of the remainder of his Pumpkin Soup before sneaking a peek at the crowd that had gathered. The place was packed. The match was almost ready to start, and spotlights lit the stage already. It wasn't hard to find the pair that he had met earlier, the girl was practically surrounded by Gorons. Try as he might, he couldn't remember her or her friend's names. Something about bombs, maybe? At the very least, he'd be sure to put on a good show.

It was noisy, messy, dirty, and altogether unorganized, so Suxen was having a hard time figuring out the appeal. The first match, two Gorons much larger then most of their kin who slammed into each other and proceeded to throw each other to the floor until one was put past a line in the arena. The rules seemed fuzzy at best, but the young woman seemed impressed by the physical prowess even if it wasn't for her. After they led off the winner and dragged off the loser, the Zora man announcing the show declared the next match.

"Kolgin Steel-Biter vs Serengeti the Yeti!" he had exclaimed, followed by an erupting cheer from the audience.
"Told you, brothers, the son of Seren is going to throw down!" Leo cheered.
"And against Steel-Biter, what a rough match this will be!" one of their co-workers chimed in.
"Is he good?" the girl asked.
"Kolgin is one of the best Goron fighters in this league," the co-worker explained.
"Bites through Steel like mud, his bite is more vicious then his bark." Leo added.

Suxen was interested in seeing what was going to happen, with this supposed steel-eating Goron fighter plus the Yeti they had met earlier. Luckily, she wouldn't have to wait long for the fight to start, as the Zora announcing came out to the fighters to the ring.

"Gentleman, I hope you are ready for a show, because I have the honor to introduce you to our first contender for this match. Hailing from the home of the Goron people, able to tear through any foe with his bulking stone body and steel-devouring teeth. He won't budge, but he will break his foes. You all call him Steel-Biter, but first and foremost he is known as the one, the only, KOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL-GIN!"

As the name rolled off the Zora's tongue, one of the drapes covering an entrance was torn down as a hulking Goron stormed out of the gate. The stony outcrops on his back and shoulders were thick and crude, and his face was twisted into an ugly grin as his mangled teeth tore into a large bar of shiny steel in his hand. He raised his other arm as the crowd shouted and cheered. As Kolgin reached the ring, the Zora waited for the crowd to calm a bit before turning to face the other entrance.

    "And in this corner..."
