Appearance: Airianna is average in height and in build, but far from average in looks. She has dark brown hair that reaches down to her mid back that is either tied in a simple ponytail in high risk situations or an intricate braid that she will sling over her shoulder. Her eyes are an ocean blue, and people have sworn to have seen the waves of the Eastern See in here Iris'. She always seems to have a smile on her face that can melt the heart of the meanest Moblin, and has aided many young men in the Western Caves falling head over heels for her. She is slightly tanned from the time she spends out of the caves, and her complexion is clear of blemishes. She usually wears a tunic over her leather armour, giving her a more toned appearance from the bulk of the armour, and often the colour reflects on her mood that particular day. She is very plain in her use jewellery and other fine things, with a simple silver stud in her left earlobe, and a golden heart in her upper right ear.

Personality: Airianna is very easy-going and friendly. She's very quiet about her past, not wanting to relive the terrors of those days. She is very mild-mannered and calm in almost any situation, no matter what it may be, but can be bold and outspoken when necessary. She is not proud or thrill-seeking, but humble and quietly courageous. She is very positive, and sees blessings from the Goddesses in all the little things each and every day, and has the uncanny knack of cheering up those that are downtrodden and broken down.

Residence: Airianna has a small cave that she lives in a bit off from the main group of caves in the Western Caves. Down a narrow crevice and to the left it opens up, with a hole in the roof covered by thick foliage to provided cover from storms, but allow the light to naturally pour in. She has a section of it partitioned off with a hastily constructed wooden wall with an awkward looking door to separate her sleeping area from the rest of her living space. She has little furniture, a small table, with a few splintered chairs, her bed, another small table with food stuff spread across it and a tall bucket with an ingenious stand for washing.

Pet: Airianna has a small, strange rodent creature named Teral that she keeps in her home. He looks very much like a rabbit in body, with a long, furry tail, and a smashed in face. His fur is a distinct auburn colour, very silky, and soft to the touch. She found him in her cave when she first discovered it years earlier, and kept it. Teral is fiercely loyal to Airianna, and has on multiple occasions attacked other people or creatures that have entered their home, invited or not. He is very talkative to Airianna (in squeaks and other animal sounds), but the instant someone else comes in, he is silent and vigilant, ensuring her protection.
Backstory: Airianna was born a little outside of Saria, to the south-west about a mile out. Close enough to experience the convenience of village life, but far enough away to ensure their privacy. Her parents were skilled farmers, and she was the oldest of 3 children when the invasion of Southern Hyrule began. When Saria was ransacked by Ganon's forces, her father was in the village, trying to sell some of his produce to the villagers, and was slain trying to defend their home with hat few tools he had with him as make shift weapons. She escaped with her mother and two siblings, but the distress of the escape weakened her mother greatly, she told them to keep going without her, and that she would catch up with them later, but there was never any trace of her after that. Airianna always assumed that she was died that day, either by the hands of Moblins or from pure grief at the loss of her husband. As the children continued to flee towards the western caves, where they were instructed to gather for protection, they were captured by some of Ganon's followers. Hylians trying to save their own lives in return of service to the Evil King.
They were quickly taken to one of his generals, who enslaved the three of them, and sent one of each across the land conquered. Airianna was moved to Kakariko Village as a servant to a family of Moblins. She grew a great dislike for the father and mother, who were horrible creatures, vile and profane, constantly belittling her and their children, but grew very attached to the children. From the years she lived in their home, she developed her motto of “I am expected to love everyone, but the Goddesses don't expect me to like them.”
When she was 13, she managed to flee from Kakariko Village, and started her way to the western mountains once more, when a group of Stalfos head hunters, sent by her masters, apprehended her and return their property to them once more. She was caged up like an animal for a week, given no food and minimal water to survive, and abused daily by the wife. The children would do what they could to sneak her food, but when the youngest as caught by her mother, and beaten until she was unconscious for a full day, the children avoided her as if she was the plague, for their own safeties sake, but often threw her longing glances, pleading for her forgiveness for their short comings.
After released from her punishment, she was so weak from the brutal conditions she was in that she had no energy or desire to even consider escaping, much to the delight of her owners, who continued their horrendous treatment of her. She often cried herself to sleep, and prayed frequently to the goddesses for a quick death in her sleep, or to be slain by an angry neighbour, or whatever it may be, as long as it was quick and painless for her.
Close to a month later (37 days from her release, according to Airianna's count), her owners were caught in what the local guards called an “act of treason against Ganon, King of All Evil” and were imprisoned for their crimes. The children were taken away, and Airianna was sold to another family in Ganon's lair in Death Mountain. Fortunately for her, the men hired to transport her there were lax and lazy in their duties, and failed to tie her up properly. That night, as they were in drunken stupors, she slipped out of her bounds, and fled south-westerly, aimed for the mountains in the distance that hid the caves she sought after.
The journey was farther then he had anticipated, and in a few days, she was starving, dehydrated, and again praying for her death as she fell to the earth unconscious. Shortly thereafter, she was found by a small band of Hylian's, searching the area around the Western Caves for food, fellow citizens, and other useful tools and supplies. They revived her with some of the food and water they had collected that day, briefly nursed her back to health, and then took her to the Western Caves.
Once more with her own people, she was overjoyed, all the miserable experiences of her past had been for her good, and she praised the Goddesses for her blessings and the strength gained from them. She was quickly adopted into the group, assigned a home to live in with another family until she was on her feet and could sustain herself, was taught the basics of hunting, gathering, fishing, and other useful survival skills, and was taught in swordplay by her adoptive brother. She quickly grew proficient in swordplay, somehow relating it to dusting and sweeping in her mind, and became a sharp shooter with a bow.
She promised to herself that she would dedicate her life to the easing of others pains, whether it be through a simple act of love or by the sword to free her people from the tyranny of Ganon, to allow her people the peace that they deserve and the joy in life that she experiences each and every day.
