    Regarding the Sub-account feature

Those of you who keep track of the Hyrule RP as well as Ylisse will have noticed there's a new function on the forum: The ability to make sub-accounts for your characters. While Bitoko and his team have made these mandatory to the Hyrule Roleplay for a myriad of reasons that you can read in the proper thread, I should note that Ylisse will not be using these sub-accounts.

The Hyrule team and the Ylisse team have different ways of moderating and different goals and visions for their respective boards. While we understand and respect the decisions of the Hyrule team, we feel that adding sub-accounts to Ylisse would be needlessly complicated and time-consuming and could potentially drive away people who just want to get started ASAP- our rules are complicated enough as they are, and without moderating reasons we see no cause to implement the sub-accounts.

We hate to use the word 'forbidden,' but that is what sub-accounts are for Ylisse. Posts written from sub-accounts will not be considered for grading. RPers are still expected to keep their profile sheet up-to-date and to provide a link to their used character in their signature, the opening post to the RPing thread, the discussion thread, or any combination of those three.

The relevant threads have been updated to reflect this.

Bumping this thread in case anyone, especially new members, might be confused: The fact that sub-accounts are now mandatory, as opposed to optional, to use in Hyrule does not change that Ylisse does not use them.
