    So I was trawlin' through the library to make a new character when I came across Water Hop, which says this;
    "Water Hop is a a defensive technique, and an innate racial perk for both Koroks and Deku Scrubs."
    Now, I was a little weirded out, because, well...
    The Korok page doesn't agree. (open)
    "A Korok begins with a PWC of 1/2/1. This starting PWC can be defied by using the Exception racial perk during character creation.

    A Korok has an innate racial perk called Plant Composition, which summaries its unique properties as a plant-based creation. In addition to this, a Korok character can have up to three racial perks of choice. Aside from the general perks available to every race, a Korok can also choose from:

    Seed Expertise: makes it easier for the Korok to acquire Seed treasures, gain a free Seed Supply"
    Now, uh, which way does it need to be fixed?

    And additional question;
    If a character were to acquire a racial perk during character creation, but NOT as one of their three chosen racial perks, do they still get the 15 rupee discount?
    For example, could a Gerudo purchase "Gerudo Dragon" for 25 rupees during character creation and use their racial perks on, say, Unusual Background?

    For the latter question, I can confirm that you still get the racial discount. Judith, my Hylian priestess of Nayru, was built with Magic Proficiency and two Bonus Treasures as racial perks, but was still able to pick up Message at a discounted price. She was approved, so I don't see why you couldn't.

    For the former, I'm afraid I don't know.

    Seeing as Koroks are explicitly mentioned twice in the Water Hop entry, I am assuming it was a mistake that it wasn't added to the Korok's innate racial perks. I've gone ahead and added it to the Korok page, and members with Koroks are encouraged to make changes accordingly.

    Will addressed the prior question. Koroks actually weren't supposed to have Water Hop. (I just made an error on the Water Hop page.) The library's been edited, and both Deku Scrubs and Koroks have access to it now. It makes anyway, considering how light Koroks are supposed to be.

    For the latter question: yes. If someone gets a racial rupee discount on a treasure, it always applies--as long as that someone hasn't changed their race.

    Further issues; Just minor, but for the Clawshot subsection of the hook shot page, it would be 'rappel', rather than 'repel' off the ceiling.

    Looks like Devil-Steel edited that typo before I could even get to it. Thanks to both of you.

    Not quite an issue, but;
    Supposing a character obtains speciality in a field using rupees at character creation. Could said character take one instance "bonus treasure", and obtain a treasure originally in the "Low Cost" variety, assuming it's in his specialised field?

    A few more niggling questions;
    How long is "long distance", as is applied to Sky Cannons? For example, could a person in a Hyrule Castle Sky Cannon be conceivably blown over the Death mountain ridge?
    With Feather Fall, is the decrease in velocity and acceleration only applicable to the vertical components, or does it apply to all directions of movement?
    Also with Feather Fall, IF it's just in the vertical direction...
    Show Spoiler
    does it only apply when the acceleration and velocity are both moving towards the ground? For example, if someone was fired straight up from a sky cannon. and the individual used feather fall, would their initial velocity be reduced alongside the decreased 'deceleration' from gravity? Would the spell decrease the initial momentum, but NOT decrease the negative acceleration from gravity until the velocity was pointing down? Would the spell not decrease the initial momentum, given it' 'upward' direction, but still decrease the effects of gravity, thus causing a longer flight? Would the spell activate, but only apply when both velocity and acceleration were towards the ground, or would the spell just not work at all?

    With a Specialty appropriate to the treasure...
    - A "Normal Cost" treasure could be acquired with 3 instances of Bonus Treasure.
    - A "Low Cost" treasure could be acquired with 2 instances of Bonus Treasure.
    - A "Lower Cost" or "Lowest Cost" treasure could be acquired with 1 instance of Bonus Treasure.

    It would be a few miles at absolute most most, and less than 10 kilometers for sure. Even that much would realistically damage a human body from the sheer speed of being launched through the air. The distance you're talking about is hundreds of miles. So, no, not even close. :rpt:

    It's only vertical direction. It has no effect if the user is going upward, and they will feel no affect until they begin to fall. The spell can be used to glide to a limited degree, but I would imagine it is must less than you are thinking. The acceleration and velocity are reduced to a quarter normal.

    Maybe I should edit the page to clarify what that means--but basically after dropping the kind of distance you would out of a Sky Cannon blast, a typical Hylian would eventually be falling at the same rate as they would after falling roughly forty feet. That's still pretty dang fast and hard. If you really knew what you were doing, you could turn that fall into a minor injury, but it would still require some kind of healing if you want to get up and run around right away.

    (There are much easier ways to do nearly-instantaneous long distance travel, you know.)

    :P After seeing the "Great Flying Machine" treasure, I had the idea for a character who owned a sky cannon (inherited from her parents) but WANTED to build the machine that her parents had designed, but hadn't been able to build. I was just curious about the distance one could travel with such, to flesh out the character.
    The feather fall questions were just raw curiosity.
