    Appearance:
Leia doesn’t always stand out from a crowd. She has smooth, blonde hair, reaching her shoulder blades, which she doesn’t try to contain in any sort of way. In fact, it’s her pride and joy. Her eyes are a color that’s hard to determine. Some people say they’re green, others say they’re brown, and others yet say they’re somewhere in between. Even Leia, herself, doesn’t know for sure. She lacks real muscles, but doesn’t look frail either. All in all, Leia’s is an athletic young woman.

As a swordswoman, Leia dresses in easy-to-move-in clothes. She wears a pretty tight, short-sleeved greenish-brown shirt which hugs her small breasts, and a dark brown skirt, split up the left side, covers her legs down to the knees. She sticks her feet in heavily padded leather boots with thick soles. Around her waist, over her shirt, she wears a belt on which she sheaths her sword and carries the thick glass bottle in which she carries potions or other items, depending on what she feels she needs at that time.

Leia seems to have a trademark or default stance whenever she’s not moving. She puts her hands on her hips and takes a wide stance, her face curious and alert. This may spook strangers, but she does it entirely subconsciously. Ironically, she takes the same stance when she’s bored.

    Personality:
Leia is curious and adventurous by nature, refusing to sit still when something is happening around her. This doesn’t make her unreliable, though. Leia has professed herself in the way of the sword in addition to her magic, and offers both skills as protective services to those who need it to get around. She has a pretty good knowledge of Hyrule Castle Town and its outskirts, and she’s dedicated, making her a loved guide. At least for her common clients.

Others might be a bit intimidated by how eager, talkative, and most importantly, young she is. Leia refuses to accept her youth is one of the main factors lessening her apparent reliability and will in fact get angry when faced with someone who disagrees with her on that. She’s otherwise quite laid-back on opinions that differ from hers. She doesn’t discriminate: A Gerudo’s rupees are as good as a Zora’s.

Leia is known to have a love for animals, hinting at her gentle personality. However, when finding herself in combat, she’s reckless and prefers offence over defence, even when defence is clearly the better course of action. It’s a miracle her face is as unscathed as it is.

    Backstory:
When asked for her parents, Leia invariably falls silent for a second before answering. This is because she was orphaned at an early age- she can’t have been older than five when her mother died of a disease and her father followed when she was six. She wasn’t entirely on her own- the younger sister of her father took care of her. ‘Take care of her’ meaning that Leia was fed, dressed, and provided with shelter. Aunt Nicky was always busy in one way or another, leading Leia to get most of her love from the dog.

Yes. When her aunt took her in, Leia familiarized herself with the dog of the house, a massive beast bred as a watchdog, but who seemed more of a lapdog when she was around it. It was entirely due to said dog that she was socializing with people: it was friendly to most other dogs on walks, allowing for Leia to talk to people.

When Leia turned ten, a friend of her aunt discovered that Leia had an affinity for magic, although it didn’t come as a surprise. What was a surprise, was how limited Leia’s magic was. No matter what she tried, the girl could only cast a single fire spell, no matter how useful she would later discover it to be.

After becoming of an appropriate age, Leia’s inability to use other spells started to frustrate her and she took up a different way of fighting entirely. Getting a sword from a nearby blacksmith, she found a suitable tree and just started swinging at it.

She was quite surprised when her first moving enemy wasn’t as easy to ‘kill’ as the tree had been, but her fire spell helped greatly and saved her skin there.

Several years after calling her training finished, Leia started living on her own and offering her services as a guide and bodyguard to foreigners, merchants, and people who just generally needed to get out of Hyrule Castle Town and somewhere else. Leia admits she has the tendency to get lost if she ventures too far outside her ‘familiar’ zone, but claims she’s inventive enough to get out of trouble.
