Tom scratched his skull. This was his first time actually using the Quest Board just to turn a profit. He clasped a glass object. He meant to experiment on the enchanted object that he had picked up in town. For starters he had filled the bottle with a piping hot cheese fondue of his own making. He shook the bottle a little, watching the contents swirl. The fondue was luckily a goo that would remain soupy at room temperature. This was by his own design as he was warned by the mage shopkeep about the fluid needing to remain liquid. Getting the perfect unsettling consistency was hard, but worth it.

Tom was making his way to the edge of Great Bay. He was told somebody was taking up the mission, and the Guard had urged young Tom to go as nobody else would take the job. What had happened was, at the opening of many dangerous fragments, no soldier or hero was available to investigate a hunch. But the hunch would prove fruitful, as a raging storm had encircled the Temple. It was consistent with reports from the nearby Zora, who were suffering vague side-effects from the tainting of their residing Temple. As their Spirit Jabu-Jabu had recently taken a vacation as well, morale was down for their people.

Approaching the shore, the beastly Tomate held fast to usher in his appointed partner.

The lone warrior stood on the path overlooking the bay, surveying the ocean stretched out before him. He had arrived in the area following a hunch, only to find the local populace in terror from some mysterious storm. Naturally he volunteered to investigate the disturbance in the ancient temple, as he had planned to go there anyways. He had set out soon after to arrive on the shore, to meet with the other person they said had been brought on to handle it. Going down the path as it merged into the sand, he marched along until he easily spotted his temporary ally.

"Well met, neighbor. I am Nicholas Walker," he greeted the Yeti with a quick bow. He quickly sized up the man, a humbly dressed if slightly eccentric fellow, furred and brutish as most of his kind are. Altogether, he seemed like the common tradesman that you would see in almost any part of Hyrule. But looks, as the warrior knew, would always be deceiving. So for the time being it would be best to assess the other man's capabilities after they had dove into the temple.

"Pleasure to meet a fellow helping hand."

"Uh." Tom began awkwardly. "They told me you would come. Said not many available to work on this."

He sighed, scratched his head again, and thought.

"Nobody is sure what is wrong. Uh, guess we'll find out if we enter." he added, finally.

Tom was glad he would have help. Taking a job wasn't something he was used to outside of tinkering with machines. He also wasn't sure what else they were waiting for. He was nervous, but the local Zora assured he should stand in this spot. He looked at Nicholas, taking in the view as he hoped something would happen.

"What happens next?" he asked, soon to be answered by rumbling waves.

The tide broke in half, and a massive shape thundered out. It looked like a moving island of some sort. When the head of the beast ripped out of the water, Tom got excited. Turtle Soup! he thought brazenly. Yes, it was a huge turtle.

"Well that was fast, Sir Walker. It's great to meet you. I am Tom Yetterman. Uh. We must ride the big delicious looking turtle. It seems to be our way past that storm." he finished with a gloriously delayed introduction. It looked to already be time to begin.
