    Like most of his kin, Buzzari is small enough to fit in a Hylian's palm. Unlike most of his kin, he lacks the strange ability which prevents Hylians and other large beings from detecting him. Despite this, his delusional obsession with believing himself to be a bee--and the mannerisms and attire which this causes--make him appear like a bee from a distance regardless.

    Born as a Picori of the Forest, Buzzari holds the typical pale skin, lanky limbs, and feather-like tail of his kind. His eyes are even darker and beadier than the norm of his race, and his mouth is so small it's nearly invisible. Though he once had normal hair of a black color, most of it is now kept buzzed close to his scalp, leaving only two oiled-together black "antennae" sprouting up from his head a far distance.

    He is occasionally told he looks very young for his age, and sometimes rather feminine, both of which are sentiments Buzzari has always taken as a compliment.

    Equipment & Attire
    Between Buzzari's antennae, he always wears a small bowler hat, which somehow stays in place even when he stands upside down. The base of the hat is black, featuring a yellow ribbon wrapped around it.

    Typically, Buzzari's upper body is wrapped in a mage's cloak, which is layered on the outside with alternating stripes of black and bright yellow, characteristic of a bumblebee. Underneath, he wears a long-sleeved, v-necked leotard made of a silky, black material which glistens in the sunlight. Though he rarely walks upon the ground, on his feet are a pair of shin-high black boots of a leathery fabric, which end in sharp points. Finally, he always wears a pair of fingerless black gloves, matching the fabric of his boots. Coincidentally, this entire extravagant outfit cost a fortune when he first commissioned it.

    Most of the belongings he carries on his travels are storde in a leathery pouch, which is the size of a backpack but he wears around the waist. It dangles behind him, and is worn under his cloak. When it is full (which it often is), it protrudes outward and raises the cloak to make his hind end seem particularly large--making his body even more resemble that of a bumblee, if only from a distance.

    Buzzari actively seeks to avoid combat. As a traveler and treasure-hunter, however, he knows that at times he needs a means of defending himself. He does this primarily with a glistening, obsidian shortspear crafted by a good friend of his, which he calls his "Stinger." The entire weapon is crafted from one piece of metal, which is just sturdy enough for it to not break in the midst of battle. When not wielded, the spear is typically stowed in his pouch, with its tip pointing downward and outward behind him. As a secondary would-be "weapon," Buzzari also carries in his pouch a meager slingshot and a decent amount of shooting pebbles. Either weapon is fairly simple and easy to use against untrained monsters, which is just as well, considering Buzzari has never had extensive martial training.

    Personality
    The most obvious aspect of Buzzari's personality is that he not only appears to be, but profoundly believes that he is an anthroporphic bumblebee. While he wasn't always like this, any memories of being a Picori are long-gone (despite the fact he still has mild feelings of kinship among Picori). Of the many who have tried to convince him that he is not a bee--including other bees he's spoken to with Language of Fauna--none have been able to succeed. This delusion of his affects the clothing he wears, the actions he takes, the sorts of food he likes, and even how he maneuvers about--by hovering through the air on invisible wings. He even goes so far as to add "buzz" sounds intermittedly throughout his speech, no matter what language he's using.

    He acknowledges that he is "less bee than most bees," as he does not buzz as constantly as others do, and does not belong to a colony unlike seemingly all other bees. Indeed, he is actually a surprisingly indepedent spirit. Though he greatly enjoys the company of those he believes to accept him (which often includes those who truthfully do not), he constantly wanders, and has no real friends or family he calls home.

    Partially because of how he acts, Buzzari comes off as very innocent and naive, despite being the age of a young adult. He often feels rather than thinks, which frequently works to his disadvantage. His motivations are rather simple, in that he likes exploring the world, enjoys finding and eating sweet foods, and has a preference for locating shiny trinkets--the shinier the better. To him, a well-polished green rupee is worth more than a dirty silver one, which constantly leads to him getting what others would see as the short end of the stick in his trades, leaving him cosntantly poor. Thankfully, he rarely needs money, as the combination of his size and maneuverability makes it easy for Buzzari to get along in the wild.

    Despite his appearance, Buzzari has considerable skill in the ways of magic, though to him it's more of an artform that relies on intution and feeling, rather than a study which relies on knowledge.

    Backstory
    One might be surprised to learn that Buzzari grew up as a surprisingly and almost boringly normal Picori boy, who lived in a quiet, tiny village of his people nestled at the edge of Kokiri Forest. His youth mostly involved working for and learning from his single mother, who served as the village's foremost expert tailor and seamstress, next to an elder sister and elder brother who did the same. It was said Ms. Bugman's fabric was woven from magic itself, and on occasion, that turned out to be true.

    Buzzari--then known as Dubori Bugman--was known in his village for being a mischevious but playful boy, who routinely told tall tales about anything he could imagine. The life of a tailor seemed to suit him, or at least he thought it did, as sewing gave him plenty of time to dream up more wild stories to tell.

    Alas, like every good story of a young boy with a bright future, his destiny would not be fulfilled. There came a day when at the request of his mother, young Dubori was to go out and find a particularly special material found only within the depts of the forest. His older brother, Drius, served on the guard. Drius was to protect him; Dubori was, after all, one of only two people in the village to know what particular mushrooms made his mother's magic dye.

    The quest seemed simple enough, but the trek of the two Picori took a matter of days. When the two finally came across a patch of the fabled mushrooms, the precious materials were guarded by a demented magical centipede. The halberd of Drius soon cleaved the foul beast in two, but the last words from the insect's lips laid out a curse on the one who took its precious 'shrooms. What it didn't expect, however, was that a Minish's Veil thwarted the curse effortlessly. Drius didn't even know the spell missed him, until his innocent brother--born without a Veil--fell to his knees.

    That's when the madness began. The boy would only refer to himself as Buzzari, claiming he didn't know any Dubori, and in fact forgetting almost all the personal memories he had before that day. His entire family were strangers to him at first, but... they loved him dearly, even still. The boy his mother raised was still in there, she saw, even if he had forgotten who he was. Despite every effort made to break the curse, Buzzari would always remain deluded that he was a bumblebee. Drius, for one, was at least thankful that he believed himself to be such an innocent insect, and not a venomous spider, or worse. Due to Buzzari's condition, however, he was never the tailor he quite was before--and instead, his sister surpassed his abilities, and is now second in the village only to their mother.

    Needless to say, Buzzari always found the people of the village to be particularly strange, but they raised and cared for him, so he couldn't be anything but grateful. This remained true even after he decided to leave, feeling the need to seek his own destiny. Warm words and a few tears were exchanged on the day he said farewell. He always thought, however, how strange it was for a bee to be raised by Picori...

    "Deluded Bee Mage"

    Yes. Just all of the yes.

    The backstory was great, too. Naturally, this passes.

    Buzzari's profile is now a Google Doc. Since it's been over six years since he last finished a thread and he only ever finished one thread, I took the liberty of making a couple changes.

    1. His PWC is changing from 2/5/4 to 1/5/5. He never benefitted from that point of Power and I'm not sure why I gave it to him.
    2. I'm adding 10 roop to his gains from Shadow Temple due to Lost and Found. It looks like I forgot to include it at the time. Even in 2014 the treasure gave 10 bonus roop and Buzzari had the perk so I must've forgotten.

    For all the stuff that actually matters I changed two typos but nothing else because this character profile is honeystly still my greatest work of writing ever.

    While everyone was buzzing around Goron Temple, Buzzari was there for moral support. He spent some months cultivating flowers and beecame a lil bit of a beetanist. Who would have guessed he would bee such a good pollinator?

    Despite everything Buzzari actually came away with a good chunk of the quest roop. Gustav gifted him a Blue Crown kinstone piece, even if Buzzari isn't sure where to store such a beeg reward.

    Buzzari
    +33r: Quest
    -30r: Beetanist Lv1
    -20r: Beetanist Lv2
    -2r: Kinstone
    (25r -> 6r)
    +4r: Botanist 2
    +10r: Lost and Found
    (6r -> 20r)

    After writing an almost illegibly tiny letter to the Holiday Moblin, Buzzari woke up from a strange dream knowing how to cast Communal Feather Fall and with a golden BEEtle around his wrist.

    He also somehow plucked up 50 roops. He must've been buzzing around like one of those leaf-cutter ants carrying a green treasure several times its size. His total goes from 20 to 70.
