Read the title. This should make it easier for a Veteran to approve or retire a character, if he or she chooses to do so. A Veteran also has the ability to merge threads or pin threads. Needless to say, these abilities should not be used without necessity. (Don't worry, a Vet still can't delete or edit someone else's posts.) Of course, abuse of these Veteran powers is a quick way to get demoted. I doubt that will happen, though.
